Steven Harold Wisher Born at Tacoma General Hospital on 10-28-59 to Harold and Elizabeth Wisher, he lived in Lakewood, WA, graduating from Clover Park High School in 1978. He went on to graduate from Bates Technical College and become a radio DJ known as Crazy Steve on station KLAY. He then attended CWU to study Admin. Management, Beer, and Computer Science. Steve met the love of his life, Hope, on 10-31-87. They were married on 10-22-88. In 1992 they welcomed their first child, Caitlyn, followed by two sons, Derek in 1995 and Jacob in 1996. He enjoyed a wide variety of activities such as role playing games, cooking, fishing, hunting, camping, theatre and music. He had a love of animals, especially his dogs Herbie and Maggie, and cat, Midnight. Steve loved nothing more than making the ones he loved laugh and smile. He fell ill in 2000 and battled bravely until he departed 12-7-13. Steve is survived by his wife, three loving children, his mother Elizabeth, Trish and Doug Holmes, Mark Hadland and a plethora of extended family. He will be remembered for his smile and boisterous laughter. A memorial service will be held 12-15-13 at Mountain View Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kerry Watrin and the medical staff at TFM and Tacoma General Hospital.

Steve was a most amazing man. He related to people more easily and more positively than anyone I've ever met. He knew everyone, and I was one of those lucky people that he called a friend. My life is better just for having known him.

My dad and I.

Dad, I am going to miss you deeply. It's hard to believe that you are not here anymore. I know that you will always be with me spiritually though. But that is not enough for me. I am going to miss our father daughter dates and talking to you. I am going to miss your hugs and the "I love yous." But I hope one day that I will see you again. I love you dad!

I offer my condolences to the Wisher family. Steve was special. He was our generations "Kenny, Cartman, Homer Simpson, and Peter Griffen" rolled into one. Steve was always the life of our parties, and you knew that when Steve arrived, furniture was going to get broken. He and I got our associates degree in beer, during the late 70's. We survived Waikiki, Dorm parties at home, Western, WSU, and UW. the world lost a great Human Being. Party On Steve!

His laughter was contagious as I recall, and always had a boyish grin on his face in high school. He had the curliest hair and the biggest heart. My condolences to Steve's family - I know he will be missed by all of you, and our next Class of '78 reunion won't be the same without him.
