SUSAN BONN Obituary

Susan Kay Bonn On January 11, 2015, Susan passed away in her sleep on Day Island. Susan is survived by her sister Kristie (Bill) Love, her nephew Joel (Dianne) Boedecker, sister in-law Karen Boedecker, her extended family Dan (Linda) Grossruck, Jason (Emily) Garringer, special friends Roy Main, Elaine Kroger, John, Barrie and Melnee Smith. Susan was preceded in death by her husband Nels (Wally) Bonn. Together, they owned and managed Bonn's Hatcher in Edgewood, Wash. Susan worked in the feed store and on the farm. She said that the happiest she had ever been was when she was driving the tractor on the farm and could look up and see the blue sky with fluffy white clouds, look down to see the green meadow and the geese with their babies swimming the pond. Susan was loved by her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed, however we know that some place Susan is driving an old tractor with the blue sky above, a green meadow below, with a geese family swimming in a pond. Wally is supervising and Susan is smiling. Memorial services will be held at Central Lutheran Church at 409 North Tacoma Ave. on Saturday, February 28 at 1 PM. Memorial donations can be made to Faith Seminary Library 3504 N. Pearl St., Tacoma, WA 98407.

All of us at Faith Seminary loved Susan and were thankful for the time and care she offered. She was always fun loving and kind. We rejoice in the fact that she abides in the Lord's presence forever.

Susan was a great friend to my friend Elaine. She was also a good Lutheran Christian and will be missed. God rest her soul, Ruth Anderson
