Tacoma, Washington - Teresa Lee Norton, a beloved mother of three, passed away March 17th at the age of 70. She is in a good place along side her parents, sisters, daughter, ex-husband, her cats and friends and family. Teresa is and will be greatly missed.
Teresa was born February 27th, 1954 to Rex and Josephine Norton at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Oldest of four sisters, Cheryl Dondlinger, Debra Craven and Sandy Orrin, she grew up in Tillicum where she met and married Terry Lee Schaler. They had two boys, David and Eric Schaler and later adopted Tanya Brooks soon thereafter. Later in life, she re-married, Eddie Ratigan before deciding to live a single life, constantly surrounded by family and friends.
Teresa leaves behind her two boys, David and Eric and their father Terry, two grandkids Kaden and Lexi, many nieces, nephews, their children along with countless close friends and all the people whose lives she touched. She was a kind, caring, compassionate woman who enjoyed her life and everyone that got to be a part of it.
Per her wishes, Teresa requested that donations be made to Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund and the Humane Society in lieu of flowers/gifts. Teresa also requested a Celebration of Life be held and will be determined at a later date.

I met Terry at Lakes High School back in 1970. I knew her family well and spent a lot of time at her parents house in Tillicum. I went into the Army in 1971 and lost contact with her. RIP Terry. John Mayfield
