Time is flying by . . . it's now 2025 and it seems like yesterday we were on Davis Hill, LHS or a little place here and there. You'll always be a part of my journey and I am forever grateful for it. Peace!

It's been 7 years since you left this earth. I still pray for you and miss your presence. Our boys remind me of you all the time as you are so clearly part of them. It's nice to read the memories others share here and how they still think of you too. You were SO loved! I wonder if you knew that.. But I suppose you know now.
I hope I'll get to see you again someday. Love you forever, Cindy

Tomorrow is mother's day and I want to thank you for making me a mother. Our boys are the best thing to ever happen in my life and in yours. They are such blessings and being a mother was my dream for as long as I can remember. We lost two before we got Nick and Rusty jr and it was so hard but you were strong for me. I like to imagine the two we lost are now with you. You're taking care of them, while I am here with our two boys. I wonder if you know how much you are loved and how much you gave me and how grateful I am.
Until we meet again, I'll look for you in my dreams.

I was listening to some Zappa the other day. Made me think about Rusty. He lent me many cassette tapes back in the day.

4 years gone but never forgotten. I look at your photo every day and it makes me smile... Sometimes I cry, but you left the legacy of our children, among other things, so I am so grateful for that.
Love you always Rusty.

Almost three years have passed since last I wrote. Came across a picture of you, Tyler & Gary in our Ranger Colt baseball team uniforms at Fort Lewis. I think Tyler posted it on Facebook. That was a great summer together! Really wished I'd stayed in contact with you and a lot of the fellas. As Dr. Seuss noted...Sometimes you'll never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. I have good memories of you. Steve

Rusty,
I think of you every day and hope that you'll visit me in my dreams every night. I carry your picture with me wherever I go and especially feel you when I'm with the boys. Our boys are amazing legacies of the best we had to offer this world. I miss the old days so much. I wish I could talk to you again but I appreciate the signs you send me to let me know you are ok. With all my heart and forever...I love you.

Always a great smile and pleasant outlook, that was the Rusty I knew. It's been a long time since I saw him last but our time together in high school seems like it was only yesterday. I'm happy to have known him. He'll be missed, by many...R.I.P.
