Thomas Thomas Obituary

Thomas (Tommy) L. Thomas Tommy Thomas was born March 29, 1935 in Tacoma, WA, and died May 17, 2011 at Seattle's VA Hospital. Tommy joined the Army at age 17, serving as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He pitched ball in Baltimore, MD until 1968, when he moved back to Tacoma. He worked in the roofing business with his father until moving to Westport in 1979, where he owned a fishing vessel. He married Nadine Presto in 1982, and they bought their first tavern in Montesano, WA. They spent 28 years in the tavern and restaurant business, mostly at "Kings" in Westport, making many friends along the way. Tommy is survvied by wife Nadine, four step-children, Joe (Mary) Presto, Olympia, Donna (Kal) MacGregor, Newcastle, WA, Leslie (Mike) Eggerling, Bothell, and Karen (James) Richter, Lincoln, NE, and five grandchildren. Also survived by sister Maryanne (Stan) Schack, FIrcrest, WA, nieces and nephews. Tommy was prececeased by parents Leonard and Sophie Thomas, Tacoma. A military service for Tommy will take place June 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
