The first time i met you Zachary, you were 13 riding your skateboard with a backwards hat on...and your little sister was chasing right behind you...it was the cutest thing I have ever seen!! I was shocked when I got the text from my daughter tonight, I just couldn't believe it. I have know Zach since my daughter started attending Concordia. I even think he was my daughers first Valentine. He spent some time at my house as all my daughters friends did & I really enjoyed getting to know him. We are so very sorry and saddened for your loss of Zach. Even though we haven't seen Zach in a few years, anytime we heard the name Zach we instantly thought of Zach Berry and his funny expressions, his ever present smile, and his pure love of life. As a mother, I truly enjoyed having Zach over to our house to hang out with AJ when they were at Concordia together. He was a great friend to AJ and they always had a blast together. I love the picture of AJ & Zach on the roller coaster ride at Silverwood Theme Park; he has one of those quirky facial expressions that you could not help but laugh at. I will treasure those times with Zach as I am sure AJ does. He left a loving mark on this world and with everyone he came into contact with, which shows you all what an awesome young man he was. We hope knowing that he is watching over you all and protecting you with his angels wings will help to comfort you and your family during your time of sorrow. We are always here for you if you need or want anything. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with you all. Zach will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Zach was a loyal and long lasting friend to Curtis and Michael when they really needed him. I am so very sorry for your loss. I can not begin to feel or imagine the emptiness you must feel every morning when youhave to go through this again. I believe that our loved ones do not really leave us in spirit. We will miss Zach in a ohysical sense, as in his sense of fun and adventure, we will always have his spirit and his memories.

Hey zachy,
I can remember in high school you wore these god awful shoes with sail boats on them, I can remember us laughing so hard we almost wet our selves, also you coming over after school and having me curl your hair and you taking my pink shirts and wearing them to school. God I miss those days. You were such a great hugger I am going to miss those. We have truly lost a great person.
