Carolyn June Sterling

Carolyn June Sterling, 85, passed away October 16, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Seymour.

She was born June 20, 1940 in Seymour to Elmer and Clara Stuckwisch Schroer. She married Charles N. Sterling on December 17, 1983. Survivors include her husband, Charles N. Sterling of Seymour; son, Steven (Tammy) Weaver; two daughters, Georgette (Roger) Brewer and Susan Weaver; brother, Joseph Schroer; sister, Kathryn Koontz; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Steve) Kloote, Andrew Brewer, Stephanie (Austin) Green, and Klain (Katelyn) Weaver; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Schroer; and a sister, Roseanne Spaulding.

Carolyn was employed at the Lutheran Community Home for 24 years. She was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour.

She was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

Visitation will take place from 11-1PM, Monday, October 20, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 Gaiser Drive, Seymour. A funeral service will follow at 1PM at the church. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
