Harold Wheeler Obituary

Harold Wheeler, age 69, of Vallonia passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home.

Harold was born on November 13, 1955, in Washington County, IN to the late Hendrick "Cappy" Wheeler and Mabel (Head) Wheeler. He married Tina M. (Meadors) Wheeler on April 8, 1995, and she survives in Vallonia.

Harold was a laborer for the feed mill and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Tina; children: Steve Wheeler & Terri Eldridge; step-children: Kira (Adam) Marshall & Kyle Boling; grandchildren: Ethan, Montana, Crystal, Hunter, & Johnathon; great grandchildren: Emmitt, Evelyn, Hendrick, Clayton, Lyla, Nevaeh, & Kyren; step-grandchildren: Hayden, Kamryn, Jayla, Coli, & Skyler; sister, Sharon Gibbons; & brother-in-law, Jackie Cook.

Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Engleking; grandson, Austin Engleking; granddaughter, Summer Wheeler; stepson, Brandon Boling; brothers: Gene (Joy) Wheeler, Richard Wayne Wheeler, Joe (Lou) Wheeler; and a sister, Betty Cook.

Funeral Services for Harold will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. The burial will follow at Wheeler Hollow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
