Melinda Guthrie Obituary
Mindy worked in the molding department at Aisin USA of Seymour. She was an avid NASCAR fan and especially enjoyed Tony Stewart. She was also a doll collector.
Born Feb. 22, 1977, in Bedford, she was a daughter of Stanley E. and Brenda G. Cochrane Guthrie, both of whom survive.
Other survivors include a sister, Melissa J. "Missy" Spence. Mindy's nephews, Caleb and Joshua Spence, were the high point of her life.
Funeral services will be conduct at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, with a Voss dove release.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Morgan Wright Fund.

This indeed is a tribute to her life - an expression of love, compassion, and honor from the people that Melinda touched with her life. Too short a life - too short that touch. I am so sorry for your loss. I used to work with Mindy at Aisin, we had both just started there and became friends. She was a really great friend to me and helped me out with some rough times. I worked with Mindi for many years at Aisin and always found her to be a person who could put a smile on anyones face. She was a pleasure to know and work with and she will be greatly missed. Mindy was a pleasure to know.I never seen her without a smile on her face. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Our loss , heavens gain.I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Mindy was one of those people who had a way of making you feel like everything was going to be ok.
