Paul Stanton Obituary

Paul Edward Stanton, 59, of Seymour passed away Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He departed ready to meet his Lord and Savior.
Born Sept. 11, 1956, in Seymour, he was the son of Woodrow and Mary Ethel Brown Stanton, both of whom preceded him in death.
Paul worked odd jobs through the years, mowing lawns and doing yard work for folks. He enjoyed watching wrestling on television as well as Western movies. He also loved listening to country gospel music.
Survivors include his brothers, Charles D. (Delilah) Stanton and Joseph E. Stanton; nieces, Deborah K. (Nick) Driver, Kathy L. (Scott) Cain and Brenda K. Cooper; nephews, Donald W. (Ann) Stanton, Charles E. (Diana) Stanton, Ronnie E. Stanton and Woodrow C. Stanton; five great-nieces; seven great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Asa L. Stanton and David A. Stanton; a sister, Thelma Lorene Stanton; and a nephew, Jerry L. Stanton.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Herman Gorham and the Rev. Rick Prather officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
