John Cason Obituary

CASON - Brother John Henry Cason, son of the late Ms. Theola Mitchell and the late Mr. George Williamson Sr., was born June 16, 1946, in Darlington, S.C.
Brother John Henry Cason, who was affectionately known as John Henry or Uncle John, departed this earthly life July 31, 2024, in Brunswick, Ga.
He joined Camden Avenue Church of God and remained there until his passing.
Besides his parents, he had a sister who preceded him in death, Minister Annie L. Cummings.
He leaves to cherish his memories his three brothers, George Williamson (Doretha) of Darlington, S.C., Leroy Patterson of Darlington, S.C., and Ernest Williamson (Carol) of Society Hill, S.C; four sisters, Geneva Cummings (Robert) of Woodbine, Ga., Mary Robinson (Robert) of Hinesville, Ga., Diane Williamson of Darlington, S.C., and Dorothy Stuart (Ronnie) of Schertz, Texas; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at Woodbine Cemetery, on Ga. Highway 110 in Woodbine, Ga. A visitation will 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home.
Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
