Vancreatia Carter Obituary
She was born March 11, 1959, in Folkston, Ga., to the late Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Mary Louise Carter. She was cherished by all who knew her and will forever be in our hearts.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 715 Winding Road in Kingsland, Ga. There will be no wake. The body will lie in state for viewing at 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, Ga.
Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I met Vonnie many years before we became church sisters/deaconesses. We had many laughs together, prayers and stories that only we know. She shared her 4 beautiful children with me. Some still today, I am known as auntie. Her favorite song rings in my ear, one verse she would say THE LORD WILL FIGHT MY BATTLE, and He did. We will carry you in on minds and hearts always. Take your well deserved rest, you are not alone, The LORD holds you in the palm of His Hands
