Daniel Steffenhagen Obituary

FORT MYERS, FL - Daniel Joseph Steffenhagen, age 45, of Fort Myers, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 16, 2024, in Florida. He was born on Aug. 25, 1979, in Madison, the son of John and Bonnie (Gadient) Steffenhagen.

Daniel will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. There was no doubt that he was the funniest guy in the room. Daniel was generous with his time and would do anything for anyone. He loved being outdoors, especially at his childhood farm, and enjoyed playing the guitar. Daniel's family meant the world to him. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Katie Elizabeth (Justin) Packard; brother, Michael (Emileigh) Steffenhagen; and nieces and nephew, Jordan Packard, Charlotte Steffenhagen, Madeleine Steffenhagen and Max Packard. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bonnie; and brother, Nathan Steffenhagen.

A private memorial service will be held. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
