I have so many fond memories of times with Greg the past 30 years. Primary among them are the trips to Pine Valley with former Scott associates and customers. Great golf, food and drink and always spirited competition.
The other venue was Augusta and the Masters tournament. Greg invited and introduced my wife and me to the entire experience in 1991. We had a wonderful week with Sandra, Greg, and his lovely parents. I returned many times as Greg's guest and every time was spectacular. He was the consummate host and best possible guide to the Masters always.
I will forever be grateful for our relationship and experiences.
Our sincere condolences on his passing.

Greg was a dedicated work colleague and a great friend - we first worked together when he became a client during his time at Scott Paper HQ in Philadelphia, and later as a teammate when we both worked at Kimberly-Clark's offices in Roswell. Greg had engineering process and quality in his soul - always one to uphold a high bar and ensure things were done the right way. I remember him giving me an impassioned lecture-lesson about the role of specifications, the value of quality to our brand name, the slippery slope that can compromise culture. His delivery obviously stuck with me, and those principles became bedrock throughout my life. Outside the office we became close friends enjoying golf outings, dinners and other social occasions with our wives where his warmth, hospitality and sense of humor were always on full display. Ever the avid golfer and golf enthusiast, he graciously hosted me at The Masters a number of times, each time sharing unique insights about the venue and the tournament - from a particular spot to best see the action to a particular spot where Nicklaus, Mickelson or Woods executed some miracle. He was a true historian of that amazing event. I will certainly miss Greg in a lot of ways - his loyal friendship, his reassuring smile, his hearty laugh, his southern accent...especially him saying "All y'all." While his passing is untimely and very sad indeed, I will take some comfort reflecting on the many good times we spent together, appreciating the trove of wisdom I learned from him, and being forever grateful that I had the opportunity to enjoy a very worthy friendship with a man of his caliber. -Doug Sutton

I will miss my good friend Greg Davis. It was my pleasure to play many rounds of golf with Greg over the years. We had a trip exchange agreement for over 20 years as well - I was his guest at Augusta National for the Masters and he was my guest at Pine Valley. He was an outstanding friend and offered me and my late wife Pam so much support as she battled Pancreatic Cancer in 2019 and after her passing in 2020. Our work lives were mixed together at Scott Paper Co / Kimberly Clark as well as at EIS Inc. which was part of GPC here in Atlanta. Greg left a legacy of goodwill and good memories among his many friends, and we are all saddened by his passing.
