Milton Fountain Obituary
Mo is survived by his wife, Barbara Fountain of Ball Ground; daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Ronnie Worley of Ball Ground, Donna and Mark Chastain of Ellijay, Kristie and Jody Sewell of Jasper; sisters, Rita Fountain of Jasper, Glenda Fountain of Jasper; grandchildren, Brantley and Jessica Worley of Canton, Channing Worley of Ball Ground, DeLayna and Davey Denney of Jasper, Carlee and Jared Payne of Ball Ground, Nathan Sewell and Faith of Jasper, Alexandra Chastain and Justin of Ellijay, Bethany Worley of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Isabella Chastain and Logan of Ellijay, Lauran Sewell of Jasper, Ashlyn Sewell of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Micah Denney, Oren Worley, Jaycee Payne, Hunter Tyra, Gianna Tyra, Sophia Tyra, and Henry Tyra. Nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Neoma Fountain; brother and sister-in-law, Troy Fountain and Margaret.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Brantley Worley and Reverend Mark Chastain officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Channing Worley, Jared Payne, Davey Denney, Justin Morris, Logan Bristol, and Nathan Sewell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Shaw, Jake Ledbetter, Hunter Tyra, Micah Denney, Henry Tyra, and Oren Worley.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, September 22, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at Memorials Processing, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or The Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
