Steven Blackwell Obituary
Steve is survived by his wife, Jama Blackwell of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Bridget Blackwell of Ball Ground; nephew, Levi Blackwell of Ball Ground; step-daughter, Britney Hightower of Ellijay; step-son, Nathaniel Gravley of Ellijay; grandchildren, Logan Hightower, David Hightower, and Nolan "Cricket." A host of friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Martha Blackwell.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with John Page officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Parkinson's Foundation at parkinson.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
