BRIAN THOMPSON Obituary

BRIAN KEITH THOMPSON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Brian Keith Thompson, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, WA. He was born February 4, 1968, in Goldendale, WA to D. Keith and Barbara (Kaatz) Thompson. A 1986 graduate of Golden-dale High School, Brian worked as a care giver in the Tri-City area. His endless patience, caring heart, and unique sense of humor where some of his strongest virtues. So much so, that he felt this line of work was his calling. In his spare time he produced Light Shows for people, played his bass guitar in different bands and jam sessions around the Tri-City area, and the most important thing was being a father to his 12 year old daughter. Whether it was going for a ride, teaching her all about music, or just spending time with her, Brooke was his world. He is survived by his parents Keith & Barbara Thompson; Daughters Amanda & Brooke; Grandson Dakota; his brother Troy; Nephew Aaron; Niece MaClay; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and great friends within his music family and his Church family. A Memorial Service will be held November 17, 2018, at 11 am, in Goldendale, WA at the New Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kevin Gerchak and Pastor Tom Trimble of Grace Generational of Kennewick, WA, officiating. The family invites you to sign their tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com

Brian was a great bass player and singer. I first heard him with a friend of mine Roger Jaime, and he was wearing spandex and long hair playing rock and roll. I saw him again maybe 6 years ago and he was switching to country. My husband and I met him and his daughter this summer while we were out. My heart goes out to her loss right now. He loved her very much and he was very proud of her. We will miss Brian's music and kind heart.

Brian was an amazing guy. I enjoyed hanging with him at the radio station during high school. I will miss discussing politics with him.

Brian was a wonderful guy. I would go over to his house with his younger brother, and he always took time to jam with me on the bass guitar or teach me new methods for playing. He never got annoyed with me, or if he did he hid it really well. He is sorely missed.

Pretty sure I have class photos of us all the way from Miss Ediths kindergarten class through our 8th grade graduation. Lost touch during high school days, but was so happy to see that he became a musician and father. I remember sharing so many laughs with him. He was always such a kind guy. Im so sorry for your loss.

Dear Thompson Family, My husband and I went to school with Brian in Goldendale. He was always pretty funny, and I don't think I ever remember him without a smile on his face. He was very close friends with my high school, boyfriend, Brett White, and we spent a lot of time together (mostly at school dances and events). Seeing his dedication to his daughter was inspiring. We are sorry for your loss, and pray for peace for you all.

Brian was helpful to me, when I was grieving for my brother during our senior year of high school.

Dear Thompson Family,

I am so very sad to hear of Brian's passing. We grew up together in Goldendale and we graduated together. You could tell he loved his daughter and Brooke looks so much like him.

May your pain and sadness ease over time and you laugh again remembering all the good times. With deepest sympathy. ❤
