Darrell and I have been friends since our Columbia Basin Jr. College days. We´ve been especially close for the past, neatly 20 years. We solved many World problems during phone conversations that could last 4 hours. He was always positive and inquisitive, even in the face of worsening health. He was the greatest friend and inspiration. There is a big empty space in my heart that he filled. My deepest condolences to Marsha, Teesha, and the rest of Darrell´s family. Your faith is your strength.

Uncle Darrell always had a smile and was always eager to talk about anything from HAM radios, outdoor adventures, political issues, religion and of course family. Family being top of his list. Darrell was a good man that always strived to follow God's leading in all situations /Challenges in his life. He walked in a manner that represented what he believed. He WILL be sorely missed.

Darrell and his wife Marsha are long time clients at Vista Veterinary Hospital, we enjoyed when they would board there cats with us. Darrell always had a smile on his face that would light up the room. He will be dearly missed.

Darrell was a very special friend, and was like a brother to me. The conversations we had while I was teaching him guitar were always fascinating! We talked about psychology, religion, philosophy, music, history, astronomy, you name it we talked about it. He was such an insightful person with a heart of gold. I will miss you my friend. Please know my prayers are with you.
Love,
Your buddy Steve
