DMITRIY MARTYNYUK Obituary

Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home

Dmitriy V. Martynyuk, 20, of Pasco, WA, passed away June 11, 2014 in Pasco. He was born in Kvasilov, Ukraine to Valentin and Angelina Martynyuk. He was the 5th child of 6. He worked in package delivery for OnTrac. Dmitriy graduated from Chiawana High School in 2012 and was recently planning to attend college to pursue a medical career.

He was a member of Ukrainian Pentecostal Church in Kennewick, and made the choice to commit his life to God by water baptism in August 2013. Dmitry was known for his smile and kind heart, and befriended everyone he met. Being at age 20, Dmitry prepared to serve God, was dedicated reading the Bible and desired to take serious steps to become Christ-like. He sacrificed his time, money and energy to ministry in Canada feeding the homeless and helping those in need. He also counseled many of his friends and family. His faith was the center of his life. As Dmitriy always said, "God, not my will but Yours be done in everything" before making any promises. His bright personality and joyful heart will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., at Ark of Salvation Church located at 325 N. Johnson Street Kennewick, WA.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street Kennewick, WA.
