Edwin Watt Obituary

Edwin Watt
September 30, 1955 - March 30, 2023
Kennewick, Washington - In loving memory of Edwin Jackson Watt Jr. (1955-2023)
Eddy was born September 30, 1955 to parents Edwin Watt and Shirley Miller. Eddy was the loving brother of Jackwin Garrett Shirl Watt and Jaime Wahl, loving husband to Shuree Watt, loving father to Edwin Jackson Watt III (EJ), Colton Charles Watt, and Chance Holden Watt, loving Papa to Edwin Jackson Watt the 4th (Jackson), Asher James Watt, Lucy London Watt, Livie Grace Watt, and baby Watt due in May, and loving Father in Law to Taylor Watt.
Eddy grew up and was raised in the Spokane area. He enjoyed his youthful years having fun riding dirt bikes through the Hills of the Spokane area and water skiing, boating, and camping at Coeur d' Alene, Priest and Ponderay Lakes, and snow skiing on many beautiful mountains.
Turning into adulthood Eddy was a member of the Asbestos Workers Local 82 working and having many friends from the Local. The Local brought him to work at Hanford and Northwest Pipeline introducing him to the Tri-Cities and the Columbia River. Eddy loved sunset skiing on the river.
I [Shuree] would meet Eddy and his coworkers after a day of work having a beer and playing pool in downtown Kennewick. We would all go across the street to dance. I knew right then that Eddy was going to be my rockstar. From then on I got to be included in his world. It wasn't easy, he was a hard catch. That's what I loved. Several years later in Alaska he asked me to marry him. So we got married on a mountain in Alaska.
Having children was a blessing I was able to gift him. Those years were the best fun fun fun! Sports, boating, racing dirt bikes, and being a family. Having grandbabies brought a new love and special delight to us. Meanwhile working hard as a man could, providing for loved ones, friends, and strangers. We will cherish the times Eddy shared with us forever.
As a wife I give him an award for outstanding husband, father, and Papa. He was a blessing from above and will always be an inspiration to our lives for as long as we shall live.
God bless you my husband. My warrior in Heaven. I love you more than anyone could ever know.
Kisses,
Shuree
