Gerald (Jerry) Romaine Dority

August 4, 1938 - June 7, 2025

Issaquah and Kennewick, Washington - Born to John and Bernice (Wlashin) Dority the eldest of eight children. He grew up in Nyssa, Oregon. After graduating high school he served in the army and was stationed in Germany, where he met his future wife, Kathy and married in 1959. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald, Patrick and Patricia. Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathy and their children. John and his wife, Greta, Joanne, grandchildren Andrew, and Alaina sisters, Kathleen, Margaret, Mary Ann, and Anna.

Jerry owned an operated Sagetree Electric until his retirement. Known for his keen sense of humor, he lived life to the fullest in retirement. He enjoyed traveling in particular fishing off Canada and Alaska with friends and family, and his boat "Catspaw" -his favorite saying we were never bored. He loved living in Kennewick his home for 50 years.

He lost his biggest battle to Alzheimer's disease. We will miss him dearly and cherish happier times with him.
