GERALD QUESNELL Obituary


Gerald Joseph Quesnell, 89, of Kennewick, WA, passed away on August 25th, 2010.

He was born April 10, 1921, in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. He spent most of his life in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he met and married the love of his life, Wanda Bakken. Grand Forks is also where they raised four sons. Gerald spent his career as a Dental Technician. In later years, they moved for a short time to Boise, ID, and eventually to Kennewick, WA, where they lived the remainder of their lives together. Wanda passed away in July 2008, and he greatly missed her.

Gerald is survived by his sons, Doug Quesnell of Richland, Roger (Margo) Quesnell of Kennewick, Grant (Jennifer) Quesnell of Kennewick, Paul (Sandy) Quesnell of Kennewick; grandchildren, Seth, Matt, Lettie, Cole, Jacob, Hannah, Ross and Ben; brothers, Richard Quesnell of Grand Forks, ND, and Harris Quesnell of San Diego, CA; and brother-in-law, Warren Bakken of Seattle, WA.

He is proceeded in death by his wife; parents, Harris and Jennie Quesnell; brothers, Rolland, Ray; sisters, Vedrene, Lucille; and daughter-in-law Debbie Quesnell.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 4th, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick, WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association, for Memorial and Honorariums, PO BOX 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312

We are so sorry that you have lost your dad. It must be hard now that you have lost your Mom, Dad and Debbie in such a short time. We hope you can remember all the good times and treasure each and every moment. Those will live in your heart forever.
