GLENN WALKER Obituary

Age 92

Child of God-Son of Canada American Patriot

Glenn was born on 20 December 1918 in Saskatchewan, Canada. On 30 April 2011, he passed over to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Glenn was a member of the 'Great Generation.' While serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he was the tail gunner on the 'Midnight Mermaid,' a four engine Halifax Bomber. Glenn's crew flew more than twenty five missions over Germany.

After the war Glenn returned to Canada, where he met the love of his life, Audry. Glenn and Audry were invited to come to America. In California, they both worked in the Aircraft Industry. They later moved to Seattle, Wa. In Seattle, Glenn joined the IBEW Electrical Workers Union. After several years in Seattle, the Walker's moved to Kennewick, Wa. Glenn was employed on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, until his retirement.

Glenn leaves this world survived by his Canadian family, Edna and her daughter Linda. His Lady friend Nina and her family, his friend and flying buddy Mike. He leaves behind Pastor Dick, Pastor Phil and many 'Silver Eagle' friends at the Cathedral of Joy.

Glenn thanks his physician Dr. Datta and his staff, the Caregivers at the Life Care Center of Kennewick, his 'Earthly Angels' Elizabeth, Roxanne, Jenny, Nurse Linda, and all the wonderful Caregivers at Guardian Angel Homes in Richland, Wa.

Glenn leaves this world a much better place. He was a kind and genial man. If you want to remember Glenn and others of his generation, take a few minutes and visit with an elderly person. You will be richly rewarded, for they are the last of the 'Great Generation.' Their service to God and America has secured the many blessings and freedoms we all enjoy today.

Glenn, You are Loved and Missed.

Glenn will be missed by our entire family. He was sweet and kind, even our two labs loved him. His wonderful sense of humor never failed to make you laugh. He and I talked about the Lord and how God had blessed his life with a wonderful wife and loving friends. Going to miss you, but will see you in Heaven one day.
