Jane Dullum Obituary

Jane Ellen Dullum

August 24, 2024

Anchorage, Alaska - Jane E. Dullum passed away on August 24, 2024. Jane was born on November 16, 1953. Was raised in Richland, Washington. After graduating from Richland High School she became a Journeyman (journeywoman) Carpenter working at the Hanford Area for a few years. She moved to Kenai/Soldotna shortly after that, where she became an Alaskan resident for 45+ years. Onto new adventures where she changed jobs. Built her own home with her boyfriend. In Alaska she changed jobs and also starting training and showing dogs. Her own dog became a Grand Champion. She had an article written of her and printed in a magazine about her training cadaver dogs. Said later she had to quit that as it was too heartbreaking and depressing. She worked at A-1 Martinzing cleaners for a bit, then onto Peninsula College. She moved to Soldotna and then she worked at Fred Meyers, finally settling at Home Depot which she really enjoyed. She became Employee of the month a couple of times and Employee of the year. She made wonderful friends through her Woman's Group and also her church. Sandy Nogosek (there are no words) for what she did to help Jane. She was truly Jane's second sister. Jane was such a sweet, kind, loving person who only wanted the best for others, leaving a loving legacy. Jane is an Angel now at home in God's loving grace. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, knowing she is finally, finally at peace! Jane is survived by her only remaining sibling sister Debbie Frymier of Seattle, Washington. Her son Christopher Dullum of Spokane, Washington. She is preceded in death by her Mom, Mildred Dullum. Dad, Martin Dullum. Brothers Peter, David, Dennis, and John. Rest in peace my sweet..sweet beloved sister!

It was a sad to hear of Jane's death today from my Richland high school Facebook group. She was a good friend in high school, always sweet with a quiet countenance. Unfortunately I lost track of her after. It is highly likely we were in Anchorage about the same time! Would have loved to know for sure. My heart goes out to Debbie who I knew from my friendship with Jane. We had much fun in those days! She was quite handy with cars too! I'm sorry for your loss and heartache.

Jane was such a quiet and sweet woman and a part of my journey in embracing a better way of living one day at a time. She is missed but I believe she is an angel and free now!
