Judith Hund Obituary

Judith Anne Hund

April 18, 1942 - March 7, 2025

Kennewick, Washington - Judith "Judy" Anne (Hollenbaugh) Hund, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 82 on March 7, 2025, in Kennewick, WA.

She was born April 18, 1942, to Clarence and Frankie Hollenbaugh in Newport, WA. She attended high school in Yreka, CA, and made the Tri-cities her home for over 60 years.

Judy married James "Jim" Hund in 1968, sharing a beautiful life together for over 39 years. She was an animal lover. Enjoyed camping, sewing, sketching, and trips to Hawaii. Above all, her family, and those she chose as family, were most precious to her.

Living with MS did not steal her joy or sense of humor. She loved unconditionally, lived with grace, gratitude, and a little spunk. All who loved Judy will dearly miss her humble spirit, tender heart, encouraging words, and her funny quips.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband James C. Hund, parents Clarence and Frankie (Thompson) Hollenbaugh, brothers Frank Hollenbaugh, Don Hollenbaugh, and survived by daughter Robin (Hund) Haugen, son-in-law Larry Haugen, brother Richard Hollenbaugh (Debbie Hollenbaugh), grandchildren Tyler Haugen (Liza Pogemiller), Travis Haugen (Liz Beck), great granddaughters Evelyn and Summer Haugen, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 26, 11:00 a.m. at Columbia River Gardens Cemetery 224 S. 24th Ave. Pasco, WA.
