Kenneth Noel Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Noel

July 29, 1936 - November 27, 2024

Kennewick, Washington - Kenneth Eugene Noel passed away at his home in Kennewick, WA on November 27, 2024. He was born on July 29, 1936 to Matt and Ruby (Fontaine) Noel at the family cabin in the mountains above Naches, WA. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Yakima, WA.

After graduation Ken took on a number of different jobs over the years: He was a truck driver, mechanic and carpenter. He even helped remodel the famous Moore Mansion in Pasco. Carpentry turned into more than just a job for Ken. He would spend his free time building free libraries around the community as well as extravagant birdhouses he would donate or give as gifts to friends. He had a warm and giving soul and would always have his phone on in case someone was in need.

Ken had a wide range of hobbies, hunting in the Bickleton hills and even the mountains where he was born. He loved to go fishing and boating and would water ski from time to time. You could find him mountain biking through the trails some days or at the Hermiston Racetrack gearing up for a big win and again at the Tri-Cities Raceway. No matter what he was doing it was always a good time had by all at the end of the day.

Ken is survived by his four sons, Rick Noel (Tami) Ron Noel, Jamie Noel and Kenny Noel (Lorrina); his brother, Jim Noel; and many grandkids as well as extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Noel, his parents, and his two sisters Shirley Barnes and Audrey Noel.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1 p.m., located at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick WA, 99338.

Hey grandpa remember all those days you picked me up from school? Only you´d walk to pick me up so we could always stop to feed the horses? I loved that it was one of many simple things we did together that I´d give anything to be able to do again with you love you

Remember that night we took a ride in the old ford falcon station wagon. We went about the ranch out at Dayton got some food and went back to Pasco and got Gene Smith out of bed, we were singing that song and I think we had blackstrap for dinner that night. It tasted great Dad . Say hello to mama and tell her how much we all love you both.

Hey Dad remember that ride we took in that 14' flat bottom with the 115hp merc? We were around 80 MPH froim Finley Lagoon to Cedars Peir 1 and we hit that flat spot??? you screamed at me to stay in it, I kept the throttle down and we rode it out to the chop. We both gasped and then started laughing like ya we meant to do that. HAHAHA love you DAD, thank you for those memories like that one. No one else could give me that...
