Marie Caldwell Obituary

Richland, Wash.
Marie Eleanor Caldwell of Richland, WA, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2005.
She was born April 13, 1918, to William Eben Garrett and Stella Altman in Centerville, Iowa.
Marie is survived by her son, Dale E. Caldwell of Othello, WA, wife, Teresa; daughter-in-law, Beth Caldwell (husband, Robert Jeffery Caldwell, deceased), and 7 grandchildren, Scott, Ginger, David, Kevin, Doug Morgan, Natalie Morgan and Emily Morgan; 5 great-grandchildren, Shaunt‡, Vicki, Brittany, Madeline and Jackson.
She was born in Centerville, Iowa, and spent her childhood in Brookfield, MO, then moved to Los Angeles in 1937 where she lived most of her life.
She married Robert William Caldwell (deceased) on September 2, 1943, and lived in the La Crescenta and Glendale, CA, until moving to Richland, WA, in 1999.
She worked for the Glendale Unified School District in the Food Service Department until retiring in 1981.
She was the kindest person in the world, never having anything bad to say about anyone. She loved to read, including the Bible many times.
She attended the Richland Baptist Church and attended church bible studies at the Luther Senior Center. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents by her mother and father, 8 brothers and sisters, and her son Robert Jeffery Caldwell of Cali Mesa, CA
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Senior Center, Richland.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity as Marie has done throughout her life.
