MARK FAST Obituary
Mark Irwin Fast, 63, passed away April 20, 2015 at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland, WA. Mark was born July 17, 1951 in Pasco, WA, the son of Irwin and Marilynn (Biorn) Fast.
He grew up in Connell, graduating from Connell High School in 1969. He joined the Army and served in Viet Nam with 1st Battalion, 92nd Artillery, Brave Cannons on Artillery Hill 1969-1970. On June 5, 1971, he married his high school sweetheart, Marlyn McDonald, and settled in Finley, WA where they raised their four children. Mark was an insurance salesman for many years and then owned a wholesale supply business. He served as President of Kennewick Babe Ruth and as a Commissioner for Southern Washington Babe Ruth and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2008.
Mark is survived by his children, Ryan Fast, Richland, Jeremy Fast, Kennewick, Heather Fast, Kennewick, and Amber Fast, Richland, his father, Irwin Fast, Jr, Pasco, brothers Brian (Nida) Fast, Aloha, OR, Shane (Jamie) Fast, Kennewick, and sisters Paula Fast Nance, Pasco, and Shauna (Roberto) Reynoso, Pasco.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilynn Biorn Fast, and nephews Daniel Todd Nance and Robert Dalton Fast.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2 at 1:00 pm, LDS Church, 45th and Olympia, Kennewick, WA. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Mark's memory to the Kennewick Babe Ruth League, PO Box 7024, Kennewick, WA 99336.

Mark had the kind of laugh that made you laugh with him. He was always smiling and cracking jokes. I have many wonderful memories with him and his family. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Love you Ryan, Jeremy, Heather and Amber.

Mark's instinctive sense of fun will be missed. He was my first grade seat mate. There were no dull moments. I am grateful for the memories throughout our school years.
