I occasionally do find the time to look through the obituary section of the Tr--City Herald website. But it's rare that I do find someone there that I once knew of. I'm sure you've heard from scores of others like me, who once had "Mr. Michelson" as their JR. High School Counselor, (1969-72). Certainly I don't like the idea of someone I once knew, dying. But at least it is good to know of just where they are today. The more-often I see another of the many "teachers" I had over the years in the Obituaries, the older I get to feeling. Even the old John McLoughlin JR. High School itself, (now Pasco City Hall), is making me feel terribly old, anymore. It's the only "middle school" I still recognize to this day for me!

To Hazel and family,

As a former neighbor of the Michelsons I know what a special and kind man Meriel was and how devoted he was to his family. I will always remember seeing Meriel getting ready for his numerous fishing and hunting trips with his boys and the joy he and Hazel shared upon the births of their first grandchildren. We send our deepest sympathy to Hazel, Don, Dean and Julie and their families.
