Michael Schrag Obituary

Michael Terry Schrag
February 3, 1969 - April 27, 2022
Kennewick, Washington - Kennewick, Washington. Michael (Mike) Schrag suddenly departed from this world on April 27, 2022 at his home in Kennewick, WA. He was 53. Mike loved being a dad. He lived to show kids, his own and others, how to chop wood, fish, play catch, and anything to do with camping and the outdoors. He loved God and spent his free time going to church, studying the bible, improving his woodworking abilities, and taking care of his cherished yard. He was a guiding light to his family and they are truly in the dark without him. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 15th at Hillview Baptist Church (1621 W 27th Ave in Kennewick).

Mike was my weight lifting partner in the Marine Corps in 1992. Haven't talked to him since right after he got out of the Marine Corps in 1992. I just came across the news of his death. I was trying to get a hold of him earlier this year. I am so sad, however; my first memory of him was his faith in God and the fact that he was saved. I was going to speak to him about that very thing if I was able to get a hold of him. God bless his family. Again so sad, fighting back tears, but happy he knew Jesus and has eternal life.
