Paul Gajewski Obituary

Paul Michael Gajewski
August 20, 1960 - December 1, 2022
Soap Lake, Washington - Paul was a very humorous and energetic person. He made friends wherever he went, whether to a convention full of hard-core salespeople in Chicago or a Trattoria in a village in Italy. Paul was a natural entrepreneur. He was the owner of a Pacific Northwest regional office products representation company for over 30 years.
However, the two most important things in his busy life is his beautiful wife Dannah and his adventurous son Jason. He built a rich, exciting and beautiful life with Dannah. Though they lived for decades in the Seattle area, they eventually chose to live in Soap Lake Wa on the golf course, where you could find him nearly everyday.
Paul was a proud and devoted Dad. He thought his son Jason (welder, woodsman, master fisherman, traveler, Montana-sorta-homesteader), was the coolest dude ever. Paul was on a father-son vacation with Jason in Zihuatanejo when he was struck by a completely unexpected heart attack. Jason honored his dad through his own grief, navigating the bureaucracy of the Mexican government and bringing his dad's ashes home to us over the course of more than a week.
Paul was extraordinarily devoted to his mother. He called her almost every day for many years, and would run down from Seattle or Soap Lake to Kennewick to surprise her with a visit, take her on the mandatory shopping tour at WINCO and out for scenic drives through the mountains and forests of Kennewick. He loved to update his mother on his life with Dannah and Jason's latest adventures. Jason would come along when work and travel allowed. These times were the happiest of his mom's later life.
Paul was hilarious. He was a leader. He was a good dad, husband, brother and friend. If there was a dazzling presentation on fascinating furniture physics, a party, a family gathering with gourmet food and laughter, or a neighborhood riot, Paul was sure to be in the middle of it.
Paul is survived by his wife Dannah Gajewski, son Jason Gajewski, stepson Hunter McCowen, stepdaughter Shannon McCowen and her partner Donna Smith, his mother Mary Gajewski, brother Steve Gajewski, sister Lisa Croniser and his beloved cat Floki. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Gajewski.

I´ll always remember skipping class and cruising Columbia park with Paul or hanging out at the country club shop drinking smoking and burning spiders ,driving carts around at night changing sprinklers. Rest In Peace Paul you were a very good friend of mine.
