PHILIP STEPHEN SWANSON

Richland, Wash.

Philip Swanson passed away suddenly at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland on Monday, July 30, 2007.

He was attended by the very best medical professionals who showed him the utmost care, respect, and love. Phil was a devoted fiancee, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He relished every chance to help his loved ones in any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all whom he touched.

Phil lived in Kennewick with his fiancee, Rhonda Fowler. He met Rhonda several years ago and always said the she was the best thing that ever happened to him. They had enjoyed visiting the Tri-Cities and finally had the opportunity to move here last August.

Phil was born in Longview, WA. He attended schools in Yakima and in Walla Walla, where he later earned his GED. He worked in the hospitality industry as a chef and a bartender for many years.

He enjoyed learning, camping, fishing, sports, music, art, reading, theater and multitude of other hobbies.

Phil faced many challenges during his life. Even though these battles were sometimes exceptionally difficult, he persevered to overcome them and continually renewed the hope that he would triumph.
