Robert David Bonner

1945 - 2025

Robert "Bob" David Bonner, of Kennewick, WA, passed away on November 6, 2025. Born at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis County, MO, Bob grew up in a military family, living at various U.S. Army bases, including Kyoto, Japan. He later settled in Sumner, WA, where he met his wife, Joyce Wilson. From childhood, his faith in Jesus Christ was central to his life.

Bob became an educator and administrator, serving in schools across Washington-including PeEll, Richland, Boistfort, Moses Lake, and Kennewick-before transitioning to ministry at Bethel Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters Katherine (Eric) Johnson, Emily (Evan) Vaughn, and Laura (Keith) Schneider; and grandchildren Aidan, Andrew, Conner, Cailyn, and Conrad.

Bob will be remembered for his faith, leadership, and devotion to his family.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Tri-City Partners for Habitat for Humanity.
