Robert Westfall Obituary

Robert Zane Westfall

October 27, 1956 - March 4, 2024

Davenport, Washington - On March 4th, 2024, Robert "Bob" Westfall, passed away in Spokane, Washington, at 67 years old.

Bob was a man well loved who had a life well lived, and he leaves behind a great void in the lives of all who knew him.

Bob was born in Caldwell, Idaho, to Harold and Shirley Westfall. He was one of five siblings. The Westfall family moved to Kennewick, Washington, where Bob attended Kennewick High School. During his youth, he was an avid sportsman and Washington Archery Champion.

Bob's lifelong career was contracting for commercial and residential foundations. His unique talent of relationship building and attention to detail made him very successful. Bob was a long-term member of the Home Builders Association, Construction Council, and Builders Industry Association of Washington. Bob was very proud that his company, ConcreteWest Inc., helped build the GESA Stadium dugouts, Columbia Park Fishing Pond, Union Gospel Mission Men's Shelter, GESA Carousel of Dreams, and most recently the WSU Cougar Pride Sculpture and Pasco Peanuts Park Restoration. He loved what he did so much, that he worked right up until his death.

Bob lived life to the fullest from his love of loud offshore racing boats to quiet hours watching wildlife and the sunset, but his real passion was his beautiful wife Shemi of more than 32 years. Bob met Shemi, the love of his life, in Richland, Washington, and they were married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Bob is preceded in death by both his parents and brothers, Bill, Floyd, and Brian. He is survived by his brothers Jeff and Russell, wife Shemi, three sons, Justin, Travis, and Kyler, daughter Amanda, two stepchildren, Cori and Shaila, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bob did not wish for a funeral service so a Celebration of Life reception will be held in his honor on April 6th, 2024, from 2:00-5:00PM. at the Sunset Gardens Events Center, 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Bob's name at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society website (http://www.bfhs.com) or to the Lincoln County Care & Share Food Bank, 203 Morgan Street, Davenport, WA 99122.
