Sheryl Pingel Obituary
Born on June 30 in California, Sheryl was the beloved wife of Leonard Pingel Jr. for 37 years. She was a proud and devoted mother to Robin, Travis, Ellianna, and Tia, and a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and service, Sheryl returned to school while raising her children, earning her bachelor's degree in nursing from Eastern Oregon State College. She spent many years as a Registered Nurse, offering care and comfort to those in need. Her calling led her to earn a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner from Washington State University, where she found her true passion-supporting the mental health of Veterans. Sheryl had an uncanny ability to reach people in their darkest hour, offering hope and healing.
Sheryl is survived by her children, Travis Fager, Robin Gresham, Ellianna Martin, and Tia Fisher; her devoted husband Leonard Pingel Jr.; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many relatives and close friends who will deeply miss her.
A celebration of life will be held on June 27, 2026, to honor her legacy and rejoice in the promise of eternal life.

Sheryl was very interesting and always fun to visit with. Her love for quilting brought such light to her eyes so that gave us much to talk about. Sheryl was very intelligent and a lovely lady.
