Teleri Bastow Obituary

Richland, Washington - Teleri Bastow, 20, of Richland, WA, passed away on Friday, December 27th, 2024, after a long struggle with mental health.
Born to Jeffrey Bastow and Lauren Hodge, at Kennewick General Hospital, she spent her first year living in Benton City. Along with her biological mom and siblings, she moved around the Tri-Cities and later relocated to Minnesota for a few years. As a teenager, Teleri returned to Richland and was raised by Jeffrey and Sheri Bastow. She then grew up with her blended family who cared for and loved her dearly.
She was a very gifted student with a talent in mathematics. She was also full of energy and enthusiasm while constantly bringing joy to those around her. As a child, she was very social and enjoyed gymnastics, dance, and ice skating. As she grew older her love for dance blossomed with her age as well. While attending Richland High School, she joined the Goldrush Dance team and continued to dance for fun throughout the rest of her life.
She passed away in December in Los Angeles where she was receiving treatment.
Her funeral will be held on January 18th at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 895 W Gage Blvd, Richland, WA 99352.

Thank you to this family for mentioning their beloved child's battle with mental health. It is a courageous step, and you may help save a life. I cannot imagine your pain; I hope her memory will always be a blessing to all who knew Teleri. As long as she lives in your memory, she is still here with us.
