Wayne Glessner Obituary

Tri-Cities, Wash.

Wayne E. Glessner passed away November 24, 2002 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. He was 58 years old.
He was born on March 11, 1944 in Junction City, Kansas to Walter and Celia Glessner. He went to school in Alta Vista, Kansas. From there, he served in the US Air Force. He worked in the ship yards in Tacoma, WA and then moved to the Tri-Cities and worked for Framatone as a pipefitter for 25 years.
He loved to tinker around his garage and loved to work in the yard and enjoyed playing with his grandsons. Wayne is preceded in death by his niece Emily Glessner and mother in law, Ramona Kelly.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lori Glessner of Kennewick, son Richard Glessner (wife Tracy) of Deary, Idaho, daughter Laurie Murphy (husband Fred) of Federal Way, Wash., and his six grandsons Ricy, Kyle, Dawson Murphy, and Kenny, Kelby, Koalten Glessner, mother and father Walter and Celia Gles sner, sisters Judy Strauss, Eva Hassler, Mary Nicholson, Karen Gould, Brothers Bert Glessner, Don Glessner, Jim Gles sner, all from Kansas, sister in law, Cathy Harden of Pasco, nephew Allen Harden and niece Julie Harden of Richland as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Kansas.
There will be no services.

My prayers are with each one of you. Laurie, speaking from experience, memories will last a life time. Hold on to them and keep them alive for Ric, Kyle and Dawson. If you need anyone to talk to, i'm here! I can see it now, your dad in heaven, finding my mom and dad (they were 54 and 55 when they passed away), and my parents telling him about all the things they've seen from up there!
