William Middlemas Obituary

William "Jeff" Middlemas
September 15, 1964 - September 15, 2022
Kennewick, Washington - On September 28, William Jeffery "Jeff" Middlemas quietly passed away in his home in Kennewick, Washington due to health complications.
Jeff was born September 15, 1964, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to loving parents David and Nancy Middlemas. He grew up with many siblings, all of whom he loved very much.
Jeff was a devoted husband, father, and protector. He took good parenting very seriously and considered it one of the most important things a person could do. He tried to make interactions with a child a learning experience which would benefit them in the future.
Jeff loved all things done outdoors. Any given weekend one might find Jeff and his family out four wheeling in the mountains, target shooting his hand loaded cartridges, boating, water skiing, wood cutting, camping, or gardening. He was an avid hunter and was very often successful in his hunts. He loved weather, snow and cold as much as he loved blue sky, heat and sunshine.
Over the course of his life Jeff worked in many different professions and seemed to be successful at them all. No matter what position he held, his work ethic and honesty were legendary. He loved exceeding expectations and wanted to be as good as he could be at whatever he was doing. More than one employer noted he was the best employee they'd ever hired.
He loved and was very adept at fixing and building all manner of mechanical things. He would study and learn as much as he could about the thing he was doing in order to do the job right. He loved working to improve the things he owned and loved building things to his high standards. His vision and clear intentions were evident in everything he touched and built.
Jeff was adored by all of his many friends, relations, neighbors and colleagues. He loved meeting new people and making new friends as much as staying in contact with his older friends. He had the ability to make one feel like the most important person in the world with his interactions, which often was accompanied with a grin and a chuckle. Jeff also had a razor-sharp sense of humor. Laughs and giggles were never far away in his conversations. For these reasons and more, he will be forever missed and will live in his family's hearts forever.
His father, David W. Middlemas, and his sisters Vickie Lynn Jette and Valerie Sue Waters preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Susan, his step-children Dustin Chabrier (Hailee, Avery), Miranda Foster, Sara Foster (James, Emma), and his son Jeffery Middlemas. He also is survived by his mother Nancy Dodd (Robert Dischner) and stepmother Valerie Hornsveld (Roy). He leaves behind brothers and sisters Wesley Middlemas (Ronda, Chandler), Stephenie Birgenheier (Rich, Colby, Mason, Taylor), Robert Middlemas (Tracey), Tyler Middlemas (Jeanna, Myles, Mallory, Mitchell), J. R. Middlemas (Heather, Isaac, Evin, Avner, Oscar, Adara), Charity Krebs (Hogan, Harrison), as well as sister Vickie Jette's children (Ryan, Marissa) and sister Valerie Waters children (Mary, David, Jennifer, Travis, Sara).
