Linda Nordlund Obituary

Linda Joy Nordlund, The Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at home after an illness.
Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in North Babylon, Long Island daughter of the late Howard and Tekla Nordlund.
She was a physical therapist with Wayne Memorial Hospital Home Health Services and Home Staff.
Surviving are sisters Carolyn Millard and Laura Galloway; family Aunt Helen; cousins Nels, Bob, Lance, Birgitta, Jennifer, Erik, Rob, Casie Jae and Kyra; loved and adored by countless friends Lydia, Diana, Lind Ra, Sherry, Lucille, Rita, and Mary Ellin.
Linda loved working with people and traveling. Her favorite place was Yosemite National Park and California. She loved dancing and was a member of the Elk Mountaineers Square Dancing Club.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Sunday at 2pm in St. John's Episcopal Church Route 191 South of Hamlin Corners. A reception will follow on the church grounds.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.To send the family an online condolence please visit www.jameswilsonfuneralhome.com.
Cremation will take place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
