Norma Olver Holl

1920 - 2011

Norma Olver Holl, 91 of Honesdale, died Monday morning, September 19, 2011 at Bethany Village after an illness. She was the widow of Kenneth Holl who died Dec. 2, 1988. They had celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.
Born in Forest City on June 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Lillian Carr Olver. The family moved to Haines in Dyberry Township when she was 6 years old. After marrying, she and her husband moved to Honesdale where she lived until moving to Bethany Village.
She graduated from Aldenville School and finished her senior year in Honesdale. She worked at Katz Underwear Company for several years.
Norma was a lifetime member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church where she was an active member. She loved her church dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sister-in-laws Leona Olver and Shirley Olver; her brother-in-law Quinten Holl and wife Lucille; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Delmore, Eldwin, Wilbur, Rolland, and Duane Olver.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Bethany Presbyterian Church at 11 AM with Rev. William Blackie officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. Condolences: www.hesslingfuneralhome.com.
