LINDA BARNEY

LINDA BARNEY Greensburg: Linda Rose Barney, 83, died August 28, 2025, in Select Specialty Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born January 14, 1942, in Bellaire, Ohio, the daughter of Munsey A. and Jeanne G. (Staskey) Marsh. Linda attended West Liberty University. She was a high school Language Arts Teacher and later worked in the Kiowa County Clerk's office. She had lived in Glendale, West Virginia and Greensburg, Kansas since 1981. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greensburg. On May 12, 1981, Linda married Bob Barney in Glendale, West Virginia. He survives. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services and Celebration of Linda's life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, September 2, at Fleener Funeral Home.
