I just heard this today. Dennis was one of the kindest men I have ever met. Every time I went to NE Ceramics, he would greet me, share a few words, and make me smile or laugh. I will miss him very much. Peace to him, and peace to you, Barbara. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Barbara,
We are so sorry to hear of Dennis' passing. He was a wonderful, knowledgeable and kind person. He always gave the extra needed support for those beginning pottery and had many great ideas. Dear Barbara,
Today, I stopped in for clay and supplies and was told that Dennis had passed. Words can't describe my shock and sorrow. He was always a friendly face and a wealth of knowledge which he shared so freely, and I'll miss him dearly. So very sorry for your loss, and the loss of this wonderful man to the ceramics community and world. You and the team at Northeast Ceramics are in my prayers and thoughts.

Dear Barbara, I just learned of the passing of Dennis. I am so very sorry for your loss. Dennis to me will always be a giant of a man and created an enormous world for the clay community. Dennis will be missed by so many, including the clay community in the northeast. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was so kind and generous. He was so knowledgeable. What a wonderful smile and sense of humor he had. My heart goes out to you Barbara and all his family.

Dennis connected with so many people over the years, his impact will live on. Decades ago I noticed that a small mention of Northeast or Dennis would spark a spontaneous smile followed by words of appreciation, across the board in our diverse community.

I will always remember Dennis' smiling face as he came to service my kiln or drop off countless pounds of clay without complaint. What a delightful man. He will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to you Barbara, as well as your family that Dennis spoke of so lovingly.

Dennis was our source for anything having to do with clay for all these years. He was on the other end of the phone when we would call him from Skidmore with another request for information or equipment. Dennis' presence, knowledge and generosity can never be equalled. We have lost a great friend to the arts. We are very sad for the entire family.

I'm in shock. It's hard to believe that he was taken from us all so soon. He still had work to do. Barb I'm soooooo sorry for you lost. I can't imagine going to NE and him not being there to answer questions and coming up with some silly comments to make your mistake not as bad. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He was so helpful to me and was charming, funny, and generous while I was nervous about firing my new kiln. I was so sad to hear of his passing. He was a sparkling diamond and I will never forget him, my condolences to all of his friends and family.

My brother Alan and Dennis were good friends for years, we all grew up together. If I remember right they were in a band in 7th and 8th grade with Mike Bloomer and Paul Patti. Great guy we all hung out on 10th, 9th street. You will be missed.

Dennis was a kind and gentle soul. He was TAP's best friend for 49 years, and Board President for most of those. I'm sorry he won't celebrate our 50th with us but his spirit lives on in our mission.
