Evelyn Doty Obituary

DOTY, EVELYN TROY - Evelyn F. Doty, 81, a former Lansingburgh resident died April 5, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Russell and Minerva Ickes Hyde and the widow of William Doty. Mrs. Doty was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and was a devoted housewife and mother. Survivors include her son David Doty of Longview, TX, her daughter, Karen Doty Weils of Mechanicville, sister, Dorothy Dare of Waterford, brother, Bill Hyde of Petersburgh, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nephews. She was predeceased by her son Paul Dotty and brother Bob Hyde. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon from the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Second Avenue (124th & 125th Streets) in Lansingbugh. Friends are invited to call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon. Interment will be in the Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
