Jeremy Sweet Obituary
WEST STEPHENTOWN - Jeremy M. "Judd" Sweet, 39, of Firetower Road died suddenly on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after being stricken at his residence.
Judd was born in Troy and was the son of Robert and Kathleen "Kitty" Collins Sweet of Averill Park and the devoted husband of Kasey L. Quell Sweet.
Judd was a longtime resident of Poestenkill and was a 1991 graduate of the Averill Park High School. He had worked for Empire Insulation, Dorsey Millwork and Suburban Propane before striking out on his own and forming Sweet Services. He was known for his ability to do any type of construction work.
Judd moved to Stephentown in 1999 and married the love of his life, Kasey, in 2000.
Jeremy took great pride in the purchase and rehabbing of his home. He was a jack of all trades. who enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing and some deer hunting, and also enjoyed his Harley, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling and the times he spent with his family and friends. Jeremy also enjoyed being involved in his children's lives. Anyone that knew Judd will remember his great sense of humor.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, mom and dad include his beloved children; Emily Mae and Mason Michael Sweet, both of West Stephentown; his sister Tammy Sweet of Averill Park; his in-laws Roger and Cheryl Quell and Beverly and Mark Bryan. Judd was the brother-in- law of Kelly (Chad) Fink, Jackie (Bill) Elliott, Roger (Ashley) Quell Jr., Matt (Heather) Bryan and Mark (Sally) Bryan.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at the West Stephentown Baptist Church, 1672 NY 43, West Stephentown, N.Y.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4 to 7 p.m. at the CHURCH prior to the service.
The family requests donations be made to The Children of Judd Sweet c/o SEFCU 700 Patroon Creek Blvd. Albany, NY 12206 for Emily and Masons' future education.

Judd thanks for all the memories you left with us even though there isn't as many as we all wanted or needed. No one will ever fill the huge hole you left in this family.
