Jack was a wonderful, brilliant man. He was proud of his Irish heritage. Years ago he learned through a genealogical study that my father, who emigrated to the U.S. from Ireland in the 50s, was his second cousin. Jack tracked down my father and the two of them developed a close relationship that lasted for more than 30 years until my Dad passed away at 98 last April. My Dad was always very proud of having such a distinguished and accomplished cousin.
