Living on the same block on 6th Avenue all these years, brings back so many good memories. Bruce's Gang, and they were such characters, and they all know who they are! Sitting on all the coolers at Anne's Grocery meeting their girlfriends boy do I wish there was Facebook back then. RIP Bobby

Sorry to hear about my old friend Bobby today. As young boys we spent many hours at your house on 6th Avenue with Jacky Bowden, Mike Collins, Jimmy Ryan and Pat Moulton. We would play cards in the back room on the weekends and always had such a great time with Bobby and we were always welcomed by your wonderful mom. Its not easy letting go of of old friends but rest assured that I will never let go of the joy that thinking about the old days on the streets of Watervliet with Bobby and the boys brings to my heart. Our deepest sympathies go out to Bobby's family. Slash was a great friend of ours and will be truely missed. When he wasn't soaking up the sun he was one our favorite bartenders for the dart leauge held at the Watervliet Tavern. May he RIP.
