Maryanne Mackey Obituary
Born in Albany on March 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Catherine Alund White, Sr. She was raised and educated in Albany and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy. She was a devoted stay at home mom to her daughter. Maryanne was employed by the NYS Department of Labor, NY Telephone Company and for over 20 years by Key Bank in Corporate Woods in Albany as the supervisor of data entry before retiring 10 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Menands and was meticulous about caring for her yard and mowing her lawn. She had a special relationship with "Muffin", her Cocker Spaniel dog who she loved taking care of.
She was the beloved wife of 52 years of Joseph F. Mackey; devoted mother of Suzanne C. Mackey of Watervliet; dear sister of Elizabeth Anne White (William) Fish, Jr. of Watervliet and the late Thomas L. White, Jr.; sister-in-law of Margaret (James) Suriano of Sidney, NY and Thomas (Joann) Mackey of Lansingburgh; adored aunt of Kimberleigh Fish (Khachik) Barkamian of Troy, William W. (Kristi) Fish, III of Colonie and Kristina A. (Rick Lampariello) Fish of Colonie; great aunt of Kathryn and Emily Barkamian, Kenadie, Kaelin and Madeline Fish, Kelsey and Kayleigh Lampariello. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 9 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, Menands where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Entombment will take place at St. Agnes Mausoleum, Menands. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.

Joe, Sue and Family,
MaryAnne was an shining light.
Even on her sickest days she still brought Sue to work and brightened everyone else's day.
I will miss her daily stops to my office each day to talk about the Yankees and the JETS!
Words from Kahlil Gibran come to mind when thinking of Maryanne and her devotion to Sue. "And there are those who have little and give it all. These are the believers in life and the bounty of life, and their coffer is never empty. There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward"
