Randall Harris Obituary
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Randy died peacefully of heart failure following complications from heart bypass surgery on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
He was born in Troy, NY. He was the son of Leonard E. Harris of Port St. Lucie, Florida (formerly of Speigletown, NY) and the late Doris Manning Harris.
Besides his father, Randy is survived by his sister: Cheryl (Paul) Matala of Port St. Lucie, FL; his nephew Kyle (Jamie) Matala of Wake Forest, NC and his niece Kyra Matala of Anchorage, AK.
Randy's funeral will be private. His wishes were to be interred by Eternal Reefs.
Randy's family would like to thank Julie and Elaine, Staff Supervisors, the entire Third Floor Staff at Wesley's Hathorn building along with social worker Linda, for their kind and thoughtful care.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wesley Health Care Center, 131 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Randy ...El Cid...one of our oldest friends,now free of the chaos that irked him so much!...remember mostly Randy smiling,laughing, and reciting his own poetic musings!...we're all 'one of kind' I guess , but Randy may have been the ONE that saying was meant for! a gentle soul, misunderstood, and now, just missed.

Cheryl and family, I was so saddened this morning when I came to work to learn of Randy's passing. He was such a wonderful loving man and will be missed by us all. I am so happy to have had the pleasure of knowing Randy. May you find peace and cherrish all your memories of such a wonderful man. I will keep you all in my thoughts an prays at this very sad time. Fly high Randy we will miss you!
