Robert F. Eisemann RENSSELAER - Robert F. Eisemann, 79, of Evergreen Place died Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Eddy Heritage House Nursing Center after a brief illness. Born in Queens, NY, he was son of the late Peter Eisemann and Emily Weber Eisemann and husband for 57 years of Mary Iacono Eisemann. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Queens, NY and was a longtime resident of Lindenhurst, Long Island before moving to Rensselaer in 2003. Mr. Eisemann was a police officer for the New York City Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1979 and later worked in security for American Express, retiring in 1999 He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Donna (Wilson) Crone, Troy and Diana (Michael) Mager, East Greenbush; a son, Richard (Debby) Eisemann, Cold Brook, NY; a sister-in-law, Elsie Eisemann, Long Island and seven grandchildren, Catherine and Emily Crone, Joseph Eisemann and Thomas Metauten and Alexandra, Gregory and Benjamin Mager. He was predeceased by two brothers, Peter and Richard Eisemann. Relatives and friends may call at the St. Michael the Archangel Church 175 Williams Road Troy on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 10-11AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11AM. Interment will be at a later date in Pinelawn National Cemetery Long Island. The family wishes to thank Kerry and the nursing staff in the Progressive Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, and the exceptionally caring nurses and staff on the 3rd and 4th floor of The Eddy Heritage House, especially Jennifer, Justine, Dawn and Lisa.
