Roselyn N. "Rose" Houser

Cropseyville - Roselyn ‘Rose’ Dayton Houser, 80, Cropseyville died Friday, April 29, 2022, at Delmar Center Delmar, NY after a brief illness.Born in Grafton, she was daughter of the late Frances Ryer Nichols and wife of the late Carl L. Houser. She had resided in Cropseyville for many years and was a graduate of Troy High School.Rose was employed at the Troy Credit Bureau in the 1960's and later was wait staff and the House Manager of the Country Club of Troy for many years, retiring in 1995.She loved gardening, walking and spending time with her grandchildren. Rose was a beautiful lady both inside and out.Survivors include a daughter, June A. Danaher, Cropseyville; a son, James A. and Elizabeth Houser, North Greenbush; four grandchildren, Justin, Kyle and Lauren Houser and Shane Danaher; her siblings, Robert (Linda) Dayton, Marilyn (Donald) Houser, J. Edward (Kathy) Dayton, Wayne (Susan) Dayton, William (Deb) Dayton and James E. (Deb) Dayton and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters , Laura Wright and Vivian Murray.Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 3-6 PM with a funeral service at 6 PM with Rev.
